Scripture Calls Us to Worship
In the midst of the congregation I will praise You. Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous, and give thanks to God’s holy name! I will extol You, my God and King, and bless Your name forever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; God’s greatness is unsearchable.

The Explanation and Goals of the Trip
2
The Commission Vows
1. Do you believe in One God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and do you confess anew the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord and acknowledge Him Head over all things to the Church, which is His body?
2. Do you believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the Word of God, the only infallible rule of faith and practice?
3. Have you concluded in good conscience, as far as you know in your own heart, that you do seek the position of a servant on this mission work out of love to God and a sincere desire to promote His glory in the Gospel of His Son?
4. Do you promise to perform faithfully all the duties given you in this short- term mission project, as unto the Lord?

Facing a Task Unfinished
Facing a task unfinished That drives us to our knees A need that undiminished Rebukes our slothful ease We who rejoice to know Thee Renew before Thy throne The solemn pledge we owe Thee To go and make Thee known
Where other lords beside Thee Hold their unhindered sway Where forces that defied Thee Defy Thee still today With none to heed their crying For life and love and light Unnumbered souls are dying And pass into the night
We bear the torch that flaming fell from the hands of those
Who gave their lives proclaiming that Jesus died and roseOurs is the same commission the same glad message oursFired by the same ambition to Thee we yield our powers
O Father who sustained them O Spirit who inspired Saviour whose love constrained them To toil with zeal untired From cowardice defend us From lethargy awake Forth on Thine errands send us To labour for Thy sake
