Just decide how much you want to make each week and calculate how many Parties you’ll
need to hold to make it happen.

a: Your leader will help you with the “how to’s” for successful Parties. You can count on a successful Party for both you and your Hostess by always:

Q: “what do I do if people say ‘no’ or someone cancels or postpones a Party?”
a: Keep in mind that getting “no’s” is a natural part of the business. Just be consistent and keep offering Parties and you’ll keep booking them. some people will say ‘no’ but many people will say ‘yes’. Don’t take it personally, and remember someone may say ‘no’ because they need more information or because right now is not a good time.

a: The key to growing your business is to consistently do the things that will help you stay in business:
• Hold six or more Parties every month to be on track for bonus level. • Get multiple bookings – make it a must to get at least two or more bookings for every Party you hold. • Continue to make calls to the people on your contact list. • attend all Partylite training meetings and events. • stay in contact with your Customers e.g. Courtesy Call, Candle Connection • stay in contact with your leader (have a fixed day each week you get in contact)

a: There is a vast amount of information and business tools available online via the Consultant Business Centre (CBC). When you get your Partylite ID you will have access to the CBC. Here you will have access to:
• a news feed containing important information from Head office • Digital literature – including flyers, leaflets, promotional material and business tools • The Extranet – where you will submit all your Party orders! • The Candle Connection, a professional newsletter in your name to your customers • The facility to create and maintain your very own professional Personal Website! Great for promoting your business and the Partylite brand!
• The Party Management system - allows you to open your Hostesses Party and add outside orders • online shop: allows your customers to shop 24/7 supporting your income, for which you receive
full Profit!

How to create and complete your Contact List?
Prepare a huge contact list containing everyone you know, from family to people from the
local shops/hairdressers, who might potentially host a Party or become a Partylite Consultant.
Your contact list is a tool you’ll use throughout your business, so don’t stop until you have a list
of 50+ names.
I m p o R TA N T: Take E-mail addresses for all your contacts and store their details in the ‘My
Customers’ section on the CBC. This will ensure they receive Candle Connection E-mails from
Head office containing your details. so – when your contacts want to take up an offer,
they’ll call you direct!

it is important to maintain a profes-sional appearance of your Facebook
consultant Page, and ensure that busi-ness and private information are not
mixed. When setting up your personal Partylite profile, use the photo from
your Partylite website. We stronly recommend: use your real
name, no nick name and add Partylite, as for example Jane doe Partylite.
Be as active as you can, and use the special opportunities to create events,
invite to your shows or promote special offers for Guests or hostesses. By joining other Partylite groups, you can share information and ensure that
you’re always up-to-date.

What does Hostess coaching involve? It involves getting a Party set up for BIG success! Hostess
coaching helps your Hostess build attendance, outside orders and outside bookings.

you can deliver Hostess packs personally or post them, depending on the amount of time

How do I plan and hold my first Party?
are you feeling nervous about your first Party? Don’t worry; you’ll succeed – just like the 2,500
of your peers have!
Take time to prepare your first Party, the better prepared you are,
the smoother it will go and the more comfortable you will you be.
Below are listed some tools that will help you prepare:
• accompany your recruiting Consultant to one of her Parties
• Prepare an infomercial to introduce yourself and your job at the Party
• Gain product knowledge
• Test how to display products & create a Party table
• structure the flow of your Party
• Create ambience
• Interact with the Guests
• use cue cards to prompt you
• Talk about the earning opportunities and promote the smartKIT and FastKIT
• Be yourself and have fun!

Multiple bookings mean you are always adding two or more Parties to your diary

1. Have your Hostess line up one booking in advance of the Party.
2. Talk about the opportunity to book a Party at least twice throughout your demonstration
(these are known as “bookings seeds”) and share all the Hostess benefits.
3. Invite everyone at the Party to book a Party and date it that night.
4. use the word “provisional” with those that are reluctant to pick a date.
5. Close using Door Prize slips. These are invaluable tools for future business which
store your guests’ data for those all important follow up calls.

Take advantage of Training
The easiest and most fun way to become comfortable in your new business is to take
advantage of every training opportunity. Refer to the CBC every day to keep updated on
training events, latest product information and other relevant information.

Party observation is important on-the-job training that allows you to watch an experienced
Consultant do a Party. attending at least two Party observations is highly recommended and
will build your confidence and skills. There will be lots of things to watch for while observing a
Party, so take notes and incorporate the things you like or think the Hostess/Guests liked into

It will be packed with information from the company, product
knowledge, booking tips, sponsoring ideas, recognition and fun!
You’ll get lots of great tips from successful Consultants and leaders
on how to build your business. By taking advantage of your
scheduled Partylite meetings, you’ll be able to take advantage
valuable training, gaining a wealth of advice from experienced peers.
The easiest and most fun way to become comfortable in your new
business is to take advantage of every training opportunity. Refer
every day to the CBC to keep updated on events, latest product
information and other relevant information.
observe Parties with your LeaderParty observation is important on-the-job training that allows you to
watch an experienced Consultant do a Party. attending at least two
Party observations is highly recommended and will build your
confidence and skills. There will be lots of things to watch for while
observing a Party, so take notes and incorporate the things you like or
think the Hostess/Guests liked into your own Party.
