Senior Secondary Education in HK

• Almost half of the new senior secondary students in Hong

Kong do not take any Science or Technology subject

• Student enrolment in advanced Mathematics dropped to

14% in 2016; far behind in Singapore and New Zealand

(40%) and in Japan, Korea and Taiwan (57-80%)
