Courage

Those who are courageous will choose to do

what is morally upright.

Mordecai’s courage:

Choose to save the King.

“the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it

“Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human

Mordecai’s courage:

Refused to bow to Haman.

who honors those who fear the Lord”

Those who are courageous will

know the opportune moment.

Esther’s courage:

Esther’s courage:

False sense of security.

“Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go

astray after a lie!”—Psalm 40.4

Mordecai’s courage:

A sure hope.

Esther’s courage:

Such a time as this.

Esther’s courage:

Fast on my behalf.

“I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and

thanksgivings be made for all people”

“for kings and all who are in high positions”

“that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.”

Esther’s courage:

If I perish, I perish.

Those who are courageous use

wisdom.
