How do I become a
good communicator?
Weight information based on content not the prejudices you have about the author. “ I don’t listen to conservatives because they are all unwitty”. “what can she teach me, she is blonde”. When you judge people, it hinders your effective communication with them
To be a good communicator you must be willing to learn from your audience. that often means that you never think that you are 100% correct and all others are wrong. it’s okay to be wrong b’se communication is about conveying a message effectively. it is not a battle field.

Be reasonable Be a problem solver in a
precise and clear manner. Come up with conclusions to issues but be aware of the implications and impacts of those decisions or conclusions.
Know you audience. Who is it your message intended for? What do they like? What don’t they like like? You can’t be trying to convince a vegetarian of something and then bring them eggs and beef as your live examples. Some might walk out of the room.
To be a good communicator, you must remember that body language is an vital as the words you say. For Instance, don’t verbally say no to a sexual advance while you are grubbing the other person’s crotch. Your words must reflect your actions
Don’t attackCommunicate: replace aggressive statements such as “you are wrong! You are a liar” with “I disagree”
BE A CONSTRUCTIVE COMMUNCATOR NOT A DESTRUCTIVE ONE
BE AUDILE
You cant verbally convey a message if they cant hear you.
DON’T BE TOO LOUD
BE POLITE: RUDENESS BLOCKS EFFECTVE COMMUNICATION
BE ARTICLUTAE
SPEAK CLEARLY USE SIMPLE WORDS
Verbosity often leaves one’s listeners trying to figure out the meaning of big words instead of understanding the real message
