Jade Dolman is a visual ar+st and remains connected to her

culture through pain+ng and family. She has a passion for making

a change through art for Indigenous and non-Indigenous people.

Her purpose is to highlight that all land is tradi+onal country

which her ancestors have prac+ced culture on for thousands of

years. Her murals and public art are a contemporary con+nua+on

of tradi+onal culture.

J.D. Penangke is an Aboriginal-owned business run by Jade. The

name J.D. Penangke comes from Jade Dolman's ini+als and

Penangke (pronounced pen-ung-gah) is her skin name which she

inherited from her Father's line. Jade is a Whadjuk/Balladong

Nyoongar (Mother's side), Eastern Arrernte (Father's side) woman

from Perth.

At this workshop Jade will share aspects of her culture and

conduct an art workshop, that involves pain+ng on rocks and

wooden discs. Join us for a very enlightening and crea+ve session

with Jade.
