Introduction

In this work we will talk about cyberlove and talk

about the advantages, consequences,

disadvanges of this world and talk how it

appeared.

And too about the internet relationship.

What's cyberlove?

Cyberlove is known as online relationship and

also online digital dating relationship. Because

it happens in cyber world. This kind of

relationship can be created in:

msn;

facebook;

friendster;

and any website online dating.

What's cyberlove?

More specifically, cyberlove is a interpersonal

relantionship, often including intimacy, between

people who have met online, and in many cases

know each other only via the internet.This

relationship can be romantic, platonic, or even

based on business affairs.

How cyberlove appeared?

“The Internet was originally established to

expedite communication between governmental

scientists and defense experts, and was not at all

intended to be the popular 'interpersonal mass

medium' it has become“, according with J. Michael

Jaffe.

Cyberlove appeared because the

human sense, increasingly, felt the need for

communication with others.

Cyberlove: good or bad?

Cyberlove can be good in one point of view, and it can be

bad in a other point of view, because it depends of the

person and it as its benefits and its dangers.

But yet, there are still many people that do not agree with

cyber love which they give the reasons that cyber love is

unreal. Especially parents, they are scared their children

can be cheated.

Cyberlove: Advantages

Researches has shown that personal disclosures

create a greater sense of intimacy. This gives a

sense of trust and equality, which people search

for in a relationship, and this is often easier to

achieve online than face to face, although not all

disclosures are responded to positively.

Barriers that might stand in the way of relationship

such as physical attractiveness, social anxiety and

stuttering do not exist.

Cyberlove: Advantages

In summary, the advantages of cyberlove are:

- people are treated equally;

- can help shy persons;

-breaks the barriers that may stand in the way

(such as physical appearance);

- creates greater sense of intimacy.

Cyberlove: Disadvantages

Cyberlove: Disadvantages

The disadvantages of cyberlove are:

- can lead us to a extremely dangerous situation (such as

Cyber-Bulling);

- people don’t know if they are being lied;

- the persons “lover” can turn out to be a very dangerous

person;

- sometimes it might be a waste of time.

Cyberlove: Disadvantages

An estimated 13 million children aged 6 to 17 were

victims of cyber bullying and 8 percent of those

effected by cyber bullying try to commit suicide but

no exact totals have been reported of deaths due

to cyber bullying.

Cyberlove: In STP

The cyberlove in Sao Tome and Principe cant be

obviously compared with the others countries.

Because:

- here in Sao Tome there isn't so many persons

with the access to the internet

- and people of Sao Tome, most of them, prefer a

face to face relationship.

Cyberlove: Examples

Examples of celebrities that tried a cyber

relationship:

- Orlando Bloom

- Jennifer Aniston

- Adele

- Tila Tequila

- Halle Berry

Cyberlove:Examples

Catfish, it’s a show that ilustrate this kind of

concept.

Conclusion

With this work our group understood the

advantages, the disadvantages, the consequences

and primarily the danger of cyberlove and cyber

relations. We have to be careful when we are

going to the net, specifically social sites, because

we don’t know any one there, so we cant thrust

everything they say, even knowing that

communication is important.
