teams! They had a great robot, team spirit, and attitude!!

Students report to the cafeteria at 8:20. Buses will depart promptly @ 8:30.
Lunch will be provided by Northeast State Community College.

Dobyns-Bennett Spoken Word Performersamazed the judges Wednesday night, April 8
at the Tri-Cities Poetry Slam Finals!
Congratulations to Kelli Frawley the reigning Tri-Cities Poetry Slam Champion.
Dawn Strobel came in a close second.
It was an amazing night of creative and reflective spoken word performances. Join in celebrating the
tremendous courage and incredible voice of these two outstanding poets.
You will need to wear athletic clothing for this event. No previous experience required – however, a dance, cheer, or gymnastic background is
beneficial!

On March 28th all three teams competed at Western Carolina
University at CIPA ChampionshipsPrep 1st Place with a score of 72.84JV 2nd Place with a score of 72.21
Varsity 1st Place with an incredible score of 84.62!Congratulations to all 3 teams!
On April 16-19 the DBWG Varsity will travel to Dayton, OH to compete in the Winterguard
International World Championships competing against guards from the U.S., Canada, the UK,
Japan, the Netherlands, and beyond. The Varsity guard competes in the Scholastic A class with 123
competing teams. They perform at 9:48am in Prelims on Thursday April 16.
D-B Winterguard is hosting a Community Preview and Send Off

Each team will perform their competitive programs twice.
