guest at the annual flower-laying ceremony at theTheatre Royal, Drury Lane. We hope she will also joinus at The Ivy for our annual lunch where legendaryactress, singer and dancer Liz Robertson will entertainmembers and guests. The career of Dame Maggie Smith, hardly needsrehearsal here. She is one of our leading actresses withcountless successes including those with friend JudiDench on stage in David Hare's drama The Breath ofLife and in films Tea With Mussolini and Ladies InLavender. Her career in the Harry Potter... films hasbrought her to the attention of a new younger audi-ence. Her notable appearances in Coward plays includethe BBC TV Hay Fever (1965) and in the stagerevivals of Design for Living (1971) and Private Lives(1972, 1974 [London] & 1978 [Stratford]).

Liz Robertson starred in Let's Do It the 1994London show that featured the music of Noël Cowardand Cole Porter. On Broadway she performed inDance a Little Closer and Jerome Kern Goes toHollywood.
