It was created to celebrate the start of the summer .

It is an outdoor festival and is held rain or shine.

To dare someone is...to challenge someone to do something risky

Challenge’s LevelsA Dare is the first level.

A Double Dog Dare heightens the challenge.

The highest degree is to Tripple Dog Dare someone . It heightens the challlenge three times.

Dares take all forms and shapes. The type of dare is almost limitless. About the video: Would the men in this room accept the dare?

When?It usually happens on

June first,but it can also be celebrated the first Saturday of June.

Where?It first happened in a county called Dare in

England and it is also very traditional in a city called Manteo Waterfront in North Caroline, U.S.A.

This festival in Waterfront is open to all kinds of music, and many other fun activities for children and families.

Other nice ideas emerged from the celebration of Dare Day There is a program called D.A.R.E in the

U.S.A schools. It tries to provide children with the information and skills they need to live drug and violence free lives, which is indeed a challenge.

We also have a Dare Day in Brazil

A day in which people get together and practice some physical exercises to remember it is important avoiding sedentary life styles and stay healthy.
