Photomode Competition #32
Car - Any
Track - Any
Special Rules - None
Deadline - 26th June, 12 midnight
Not sure where to spend you hard earned credits?
Well here is a quick low down of how fast a selection of cars from the tuning market
place can be driven around Nurburgring GP Short.
I run each car in a 5 lap race around Nurburgring GP Short, with simulation damage on.
Why did I choose this track? Well I think this is a good track to gauge how good a car will be for use in the online
public hoppers as it has a couple of long straights mixed together by tight flowing
corners. With this mix of thrack the car has to be well ballanced to deal with the left
right turns. Good acceleration and top end speed for coming out of the tight corners to
take full advantage of the straights and good breaks to deal with the opening hairpin
right.
In my opinion a car with this sort of setup will do very well on a load of different tracks,
which is good news for public hoppers.

Hello and welcome to the launch of the TfR Academy.
Here at TfR we want to give something back to members of the site who want to
improve their racing skills and become better and more competitive drivers.
How will it work:
Upon signing up the driver will be allocated a main port of call i.e one of the TfR
drivers. This will be the drivers main mentor throughout the project. He will then be put
through his paces and set a number of targets to improve his forza capabilities.
Tunes will be provided by TfR members or the person will be instructed to buy certain
tunes off the storefront.
The driver will have 1-1 sessions with a main TfR driver and group sessions to bring all
they learn into practice.
What will the project involve:
The project aims to help improve not just overall pace but race craft car control and the
ability to be competitive with various drive trains.
Over the course drivers will be:
1. Subject to hotlap competitions
2. A single night one car only championship
3. Learn how to overtake cleanly and safely
4. Learn to defend cleanly
5. Improve their lines into corners and corner entrance and exit speeds.
Why are we doing this:
At TfR we believe we exemplify just how much you can improve when in the right
environment and the right structure. Driver who sign up for this plan will effectively be
acting as a TfR B team. By helping them improve every aspect of their forza play, we
hope this will act as a feeder not just into TfR but if members want to join other teams
and play their trade with them.
How do i apply:
Applying is simple, all you need to do is post here with your xbox live gamertag and
what you most want to get out of this.
What do we ask from you:
As i have already said upon joining you will be in a virtual TfR 'B' team. This means
you will be representing TfR and what we mean and stand for.
The only other thing we ask you is that you put 100% commitment into this as that’s
what we will be giving to you.
Please only apply if you really do want our help as we are doing this for the benefit of
everyone.
We hope you will sign up to this wonderful opportunity.
Thank you TfR Guru
