about the participation of executives in strategic decision making.

in Hospitals." The goal of this project was to collect data on strategic decision making processes
in hospitals.
1989-90, Principal investigator (with Ruth A. Anderson, School of Nursing), Commonwealth Fund
Project, "Graduate Joint Degree Program in Nursing and Management." The goal of this project
was to develop and market a joint MBA/MSN graduate degree for the preparation of health care
executives.
1985-86, Principal investigator, IBM Quest Project, "Use of IBM PCs to Support Strategic
Planning and Policy." The goal of this project was to develop software for use by executives to
support policy analysis activities.
1981-82, Principal investigator, policy analysis development project for the Texas Department of
Human Resources. The goals of this project were to: provide for the development and
improvement of policy analysis at TDHR and to provide for the development and integration of a
Decision Support System for policy analysis in TDHR, thereby enhancing the information
environment for decision makers.
