User’s Guide for IU Northwest Students
1. Log into One Start to view your Student Information Center 2.
Click on the link for My Academics and Grades
1. Be sure that your major is correctly listed on this page. If is
not, see your academic advisor. 2. Click on View My Advisement
Report to see Your Academic Advisement Report (degree audit)
1. Make sure that the institution is set to IU Northwest and the
Report Type is Academic Advisement Report (AAR) 2. Click the
Process Request button
1. Click on the Collapse All button to make viewing your AAR easier
2. Each of the blue bars represents different requirements for your
degree
1. Click on the green triangles on the blue bar to expand the
requirements 2. A list of course requirements will appear for your
degree
1. Click on the green triangle next to the course requirements. 2.
If you have completed the courses for the requirement the word
Satisfied will appear for those courses along with your grades in
the courses. 3. Degree audit will also check to see that you meet
any grade requirements for courses too.
1. This student is a Business major and the audit shows some of the
courses that are required for a Bachelor of Science in Business. 2.
The student has Not Satisfied all of the course requirements in
Teamwork & Team Leadership Skills Requirement but is currently
registered for BUS-Z 302.
1. Degree Audit also checks your GPA and credit hours for
graduation requirements. 2. Your department may also have other
requirements that you must satisfy for your degree, such as a
residency requirement.
1. Click on the green triangles to view your GPA and other
graduation requirements. 2. If you meet the minimum GPA
requirements, it will show that this requirement is
Satisfied.
1. You can print out a copy of your Academic Advisement Report any
time. 2. Scroll down to the end of your AAR and use the PRINTER
FRIENDLY button at the bottom to print a copy of your AAR.
