Spaghetti Bolognaise

• Don’t forget your apron

Wash your hands, whilst singing the ‘Happy Birthday’ song!

Collect Ingredients1 TBS Tomato paste

1 Rasher Bacon

200g Minced Meat

1 handful of spaghetti

1 small onion

1 tsp Crushed Garlic

150ml Tomato Soup

Cut the onion in half, peel the onion, slice the onion towards the core, slice the onion horizontally, watching for fingers, then slice down!

Dice Bacon into small squares

Using your largest pot, boil some water for the pasta

Break your pasta in half and add it to the water once it has boiled

Add 1 TBS of oil to the sauce pan and heat over medium heat

Add mince to heated oil

Once the mince has browned, add the onion and bacon

Brown off all ingredients together for 5 minutes, stirring constantly!

Add the tomato soup...

Tomato paste...

And garlic to the cooked mince

Cook the sauce for 10 minutes on low stirring

occasionally!

Pasta is cooked when it is al’dente

Pour the pasta into a strainer

Run warm water over pasta to remove starch

Serve the Bolognaise sauce on a bed of pasta
