DEPARTMENT HISTORY

The establishment of the Department of Civil Engineering coincided with the foundation of Amirkabir University in 1959, but its activities goes back to 1952 as the Institute of Road and Construction Engineering. Later on, in 1984, it was renamed to the Department of Civil and Environment Engineering.
