Writing, Management, Public Administration, Policy Making, Public Relations, Advertising, Training & Development, Marketing, Accounting, Financial Management, MIS, Research Methodology etc. These subjects will provide you a conceptual base.

• Improve your communication and presentation skills. It is the key to success.

• Improve your report writing. Learn all types of business reports, proposal, research reports, investigative reports and feasibility reports etc.

• Focus on your letter writing. MUST know how to write different kind of letters.

• How to write solicited/ unsolicited job letters/applications

• Prepare an eye catching profile /CV.

• Develop a reading habit and must read few well known books e.g. 7 habits of highly effective people, The power of visualization etc.

• Start thinking and interacting like MANAGERS. • Be positive and proactive in your actions.• Start focusing on your dressing, your look and

other physical features. • Develop networking with you senior fellows who

have already started their career.• Focus on senior fellows who are established in

sector/industry visit their websites and study their corporate profiles. Must know at least 5 leading industries of that sector.

• Make your own directory of Human resources Managers and their contacts/addresses to apply.

• Design a job customized CV. One tablet can relief every disease.

• CV is your advertisement of selling, customize it according to the job requirements.

• Make your picture from a professional photographer.

or you are really photogenic. • Get maximum information about the organization

and it mission/vision before applying and before going for interview.

• Prepare your self for interview. Prepare professional replies of most common FAQ’s.

• Never refuse any interview call even it is for a junior position. Go, prove your worth and leave your updated CV for future reference.

• Dress up smartly and professionally for interviews.

• Don’t accept or reject any job offer immediately. Take time to think at least 1 to 2 days. Take advise from seniors to finalize your decision.

• Do not jump on salary before, during on end of any interview. Never give a figure in 1st interview.

• Try to discuss salary in the final meeting. It will enable you to demand exactly what are worth for and put u in a position of negotiation.

give a range and keep a margin of negotiation. eg. you want 25K demand 30k to 35k. Employer consider your down limit and negotiate on it.

• Know your worth, and never give unrealistic salary exception.

• Final your deal and make a noting of what you finalize with employer.

• Request for joining time at least 7 days. May be you get some information which change your decision.

• Never compromise your self development, keep learning new KSAOC’s.

• Keep exploring new opportunities for a nice switch, even if you are on a good job.
