• 20% discount off of their Best Available Rate (BAR) at all their properties

• Starwood hotel brands are Westins, W, Sheratons, Alofts and more– In order to get the discount you must register

as a Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG)

• Discounts can be used for both business or personal travel

• We will be announcing in 2010 that these two hotels will begin accepting Penn Purchasing cards rather than the paper forms for departmental bookings.

• Our goal is to do a better job of capturing travel data and then returning it to the schools and centers – How much your travelers spent on

airline tickets on a quarterly basis – What savings were achieved by using

a preferred agency and/or a preferred airlines

New TSA Requirements

• Travelers names as they appear on the travelers ID

– Driver’s license or Passport

• Traveler’s birth date

• Work with each school and center and the preferred suppliers to create greater savings opportunities

• Help document those savings

What I need from you• Encourage your travelers to use one

of the booking providers on the Travel Portal

• Use the local hotel link and support the locals hotels that are giving Penn special pricing for Penn visitors

• Encourage travelers to provide us feedback so we can strengthen the travel site and make it more robust
