Priority
This piece was created to launch O2 Priority moments, music and rugby in the Irish marketplace until O2’s advertising agency could provide assets. It used simple and visually direct artwork to communicate that Priority would bring you offers and benefits straight to your smartphone.

€10 Direct Mail
This piece was created to capture prepay customers who woudn’t have a email address available. It’s a unusual piece in that there is no obvious branding on the outside. I felt, that direct mail is often disgarded before been opened and a piece of mail like this may have more cut through. If only from a curiousity stand point.

ProjectO2 Freedom Campaign
SolutionFollowing a successful pitch against 3 other agencies RR Donnelley won the opportunity to develop a creative into what progressed to be the biggest O2 campaign ever executed in Ireland. We implemented the creative across every marketing channel O2 had access to. All 69 of O2s stores were refitted and merchandised by RR Donnelley with Sweet Freedom creative elements.
Design
Ta-Da!
This piece was created to attract prepay customers with a credit incentive. The headline was kept short and snappy. The artwork also conveyed that this would be an offer with instant gratification for prepay customers.

Business Concept
This was a proposed campaign for O2 business. O2 was seen as only been interested in big business. So they wanted to let small business owners know that they could offer them value and support in getting there business to where they wanted.

Business Concept
Here we have the artwork in situ online and in print. Just to show it’s versality in application. Also some outdoor activity with a fake shark fin cutting through the Liffey waters around the IFSC with people on land with spear guns offering info handouts and treats from a fish bait bucket. Just something to get people talking.
Viral
A possible viral piece might be to get someone to swim around the liffey with a fi n on there back and swimming just beneath the surface and then just fi lming reactions from people around the IFSC, have diver emerge and hand out SOHO info. Maybe have the fi n circle one of the hired out kayaks.

Segmentation
This piece was an intenal O2 communiction piece. O2 used animals and other terminology to represent the breakdown of there customer base in the past. This would be a more considered approach and one that created icongraphy that would aid the business in retaining the differences and designing products for them going forward.

Your O2 magazine
I have redesigned the layout of the O2 magazines over the last number of years. Always trying make it more visaully interesting and accessible at the same time. It was important to have the price plans laid out in customer friendly way. As staff would often use as a sales aid in store.
Design
Christmas Catalogue
Oragnised the photoshoot for the phones and accessories in this catalogue. Also did the layout and photoshop work.
Design
Internal Posters
This was transition internal poster between O2 and Three. It was designed with no Telefónica/O2 branding. This was a poster to communicate to customer care staff the need to capture email addresses. As O2 didn’t have email address contact details for all there customer base.
Design
Internal posters
The Telefónica brand was used internally for O2 communications. These posters were used to communicate security messages throughout the O2 offices here in Dublin and Limerick. I used retro robots to communicate a basic message. You are not a robot, but if you could adopt a behavior or two of a preprogrammed automaton it might help the security of the business.

The ones that got away
Design
Some creative that didn’t make it. While they didn’t make the cut, the journey to get there with ideas flowing back and forth between designers, sometimes ridiculous in nature to being downright subversive. It always seemed worth it.

Design
This was a logo created for a college campus cafe as part of a much larger catering branding project. The logo took a loose influence from James Joyce’s characteristics. Bloomers and Bloomsday seemed like an easy link to make.
Waterford Crystal
This was a 42 page brochure for Waterford Crystal. It was aimed at corporate gifting market.

Celtic Cask
Celtic Cask was a branding proposal for Celtic Whiskey shop on Dawson street. They had the opportunity to have distilleries like Cooley and Teeling take wine casks they had acquired from some of there more interesting wine and sherry suppliers. Then have there whiskey stored in these selected wooden casks for a time. Where by they would be influenced in aroma and taste. Then these special whiskeys would be bottled and branded exclusively for the Celtic whiskey shop.

Wine Consultant
Design
This was business stationery designed for person starting up their own wine consultancy business. Just tried to have a simple and effective design with a single strong colour.
Band Icons
Design
This was a personal project to create icons that represented the characters in the band Elektrobank. They use animal masks on stage. Taking an influence from Daft Punk’s ‘Da Funk’ video from the 90’s which featured an actor with a dog mask.
Nephew’s T-Shirt
This is T-shrt I designed for my nephew for his sixth birthday. I will screen print this at home and give to him in the coming year. His nickname is bear and he likes Fireman Sam.
