What Worked

Tina Robertson served as a great spokesperson for the organization by delivering a flawless brand message surrounding the Dallas Furniture Bank’s overall mission and purpose of their fundraiser. Her sincerity and connection to the organization resonated well with the media as well as the general pubic.

Engaging Tre Wilcox and Casey Thompson as influencers lent credibility to the events theme by re-creating a friendly cook-off between the two former competitors. Their involvement in the benefit drove local awareness among the general public and increased the overall recognition for the Dallas Furniture Bank.

Ticket sales for the fundraiser surpassed proceeds from previous years making the 2008 CHAIR-ity Fundraiser the most successful to date.
