Digital Media

Hello, My name is

Jonathan.

I will bring you to the world of

Digital Media!

Audio Tools Players

A digital audio player (DAP) is a device that stores, organizes and plays audio files.

Editing Audio editing was a new

technology that developed in the middle part of the 20th century

Benefits Industry Development Outcomes:

Creation of a new product and technical services company with global partners that supports competitive development of digital audio networking enabled products.

Future The growing popularity of high-quality audio

compression is destined to forever change the way that consumers use recorded music. From the viewpoint of a consumer using today's storage capability, music has transcended dedicated physical media. There are four distinct models of music playback that relate to PCs. Using the PC's audio system, users play music stored on the Internet or local hard disk.

What is Digital Video? Digital video is a type of video recording system

that works by using a digital, rather than analog, representation of the video signal. Digital video is most often recorded on tape, and then distributed on optical discs, usually DVDs. There are exceptions, such as camcorders that record directly to DVDs, Digital8 camcorders which encode digital video on conventional analog tapes, and other high-end camcorders which record digital video on hard disks or flash memory.

Betacam Betacam is a family of

half-inch professional videotape products developed by Sony from 1982 onwards. In casual use, "Betacam" singly is often used to refer to a Betacam camcorder, a Betacam tape, or a Betacam video recorder.

Digital Video Format MPEG-1

MPEG-1 defines a group of Audio and Video (AV) coding and compression standards agreed upon by MPEG (Moving Picture Experts Group). MPEG-1 video is used by the Video CD (VCD) format and less commonly by the DVD-Video format.

MPEG-2 It describes a combination of lossy video compression and

lossy audio compression (audio data compression) methods which permit storage and transmission of movies using currently available storage media and transmission bandwidth.

Digital Video Hardware A camcorder is a portable

electronic device for recording video images and audio onto an internal storage device.

A digital video recorder (DVR) is a device that records video in a digital format to a disk drive or other medium.

What is a Digital Photography Digital photography, as opposed to film

photography, uses electronic devices to record and capture the image as binary data.

Digital Photography Hardware Digital camera is an

electronic device used to capture and store photographs digitally, instead of using photographic film like conventional cameras, or recording images in an analog format to magnetic tape like many video cameras.

Digital Photography Software Adobe Photoshop, or

simply Photoshop, is a graphics editor developed and published by Adobe Systems. It is the current market leader for commercial bitmap and image manipulation, and is the flagship product of Adobe Systems.
