Dipity Civil War TimelineInstructions

Step 1 – Sign up for an account

• Go to www.dipity.com and click Join Dipity

Step 2 – Create a Timeline

• Click Get Started next to Create a Timeline.

• Fill in information then click Continue to Add Events.

• Click Add Event to add your first event to your timeline.

• Fill in data to add your event:

• Click Continue

• Fill in the following then choose Save and View Timeline.

Step 3 – View and Edit Timeline

• Click on the event to edit or delete it. • Click on Add an Event to add another event.

• Preview your events.• Edit or Delete as needed.

Step 4 – Get back to your Timeline

• When you first log in or if you get kicked out of the website, to find your timeline:– Click on Dashboard:

– Click on the link to your Public Profile

– Scroll down to find your timelines.– Click on the name to open and/or edit.

Step 5 – Turn in URL

• Make sure to turn in your project URL to your teacher in the Google Form they’ve provided to you in the Student Share Drive – Dipity – Vrska or Palmer.
