We deem a company “export ready” when it fulfi lls certain criteria, listed below. All of our export-ready companies are listed in a Directory of Exporters, which is updated every three months. The directory is made available to international buyers and investors via the Trade Hub’s website and at trade shows.

The Trade Hub works with West African business operators to export internationally, acting as an honest broker between the region and global markets. Our work with select export-ready businesses increases their opportunity to grow and compete in the international marketplace, and as a result boosts local and regional economies.

The Trade Hub’s Enterprise Development Department focuses primarily on six sectors from throughout the region – shea butter, handicrafts, apparel, specialty foods, processed cashews and fi sh and seafood – helping develop exporting capacity in products that have the greatest potential on the world market. We provide the linkages and technical assistance – the companies make the deals.
