growth
Materials1- Water2- Clothing Detergents.3- 1- 12oz.plastic cup4- 1 - table spoons5- 6” plant.
hypothesisI Shall attempt to prove that detergents have
chemicals could make a negative impact upon the growth and development of plants.
ProcedureA.set up plastic cup.B.Add water to the cup.C.Add 1-tablespoon of detergent to the
water.D.Put soap water inside of the plant.E.Wait for four Weeks to see results.F.Record results by Week.

Results From The beginning of my research, it was
obvious to me what the results would tell me.The plan that is receiving detergent start to show
leaf injury. 1-Turning wilted. 2- Turning brown and yellow.
Root ball and stem from the plant was getting rot.Plant stayed very moist.The information gained from this experiment will
alert people to the dangerous effect of detergents on plants.
ConclusionIn conclusion, our experiment went as planed.
Show me how the plant was effected by detergents.
The detergents started killing the plant after the first week.
Any kind of plants could be effect by detergents.Detergents will not damage plants if concentration
are low. Detergents should be used cautiously as pesticides in order to avoid damage to plants.
That high concentration of chemicals in the detergent would kill the plants.
