Donyatt Social Club
On Monday 15th May, we held our Skittles Final andPresentation Evening.
Firstly, we donated a cheque for £1,100 to SouthSomerset MIND. Representative Dr Alexander Priest
from the Yeovil branch received the cheque onbehalf of the charity.
The skittles final was then played out between one ofour new teams, Upper, captained by George Busby,
and Park, captained by John Grabham. After a closelyfought game, swinging from one side to the other,Park eventually pulled through to win by 23 pins.

DONYATT PARISH COUNCIL NEWS
Councillor Lynn Mortimer has been re-elected as Chairman and CouncillorBill Porritt was elected as Vice Chairman.
At long last the Council has received A358 Road Safety Feasibility Reportregarding the options on the A358 through Donyatt. The Council will bediscussing this at an extra meeting on 6th June. At this meeting, theCouncil will also be discussing the potential for a Housing Needs Surveyfor Donyatt. As with our other meetings, residents are welcome toattend and ask questions.
