ACTIVE student status: completed semester registration, courses registration and fees.

NON-ACTIVE student status: incomplete registration of semester, courses and fees.

CREDIT for ACTIVE registration: 8 – 22 credits

If less than 8 credits, the registration will be cancelled and given TANGGUH PENGAJIAN (Deferment of Studies).

LUAR JULAT (Out-of-Range), less than 8 credits or morethan 22 credits – application via ProgrammeCoordinator, approved by DEAN (*not applicable for LB)

RAYUAN allowed for first time GB only (clean slate).

TANGGUH PENGAJIAN (Deferment of Studies): allowedonly maximum of 3 times throughout the course ofstudy. If more, GAGAL DAN DIBERHENTIKAN (GB).

*Failing to register for the current semester, willautomatically by given TANGGUH PENGAJIAN.

GANTUNG PENGAJIAN (Suspension of Studies):automatically will be given to students failing toregister in the current semester and did not apply forTANGGUH PENGAJIAN by Week 2.

DIBERHENTIKAN DARI PENGAJIAN (Termination ofStudies) will be given to the students if still fail toregister in the next semester after GANTUNGPENGAJIAN.

DIBERHENTIKAN DARI PENGAJIAN (Termination ofStudies) will be given to students after 14 semestersof study.

GANTUNG PENGAJIAN (Suspension of Studies) andDIBERHENTIKAN DARI PENGAJIAN (Termination of Studies)will also be given in cases of ACADEMIC MISDEMEANOR(subject to decision from Jawatankuasa Tatatertib PelajarUniversiti)

This 20yo Sarawakian Just Got Offered a 10-Year Contract From BMW to Work in Germany!

Third-year university student recently made his state and country proud after being the first ever Sarawakian to get a 10-year contract offer with BMW Group. The student named Franklin Lingga Abun from Kapit, Sarawak is currently studying Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS).
