The Macon is a visual delight. Half-timbers accent a vaulted porch, nicely set off by the stone veneer next to it. The porch, in turn, frames an impressive entry flanked by side-lights and crowned with a fanlight. Curved trim boards and varied win-dow treatments add to the viewing pleasure.
With nearly 3,000 square feet of living space, its bright, spacious in-terior is ideal for entertaining, as well as relaxed day-to-day living. The
living room and dining room can be furnished formally, if desired, while the family room and den decors cater to more individual family preferences. The den could serve as another bedroom, or a home of-fice.
The vaulted dining room and sunken living room are richly win-dowed. In the living room, wide shelves and cabinets fill the walls
beside a fireplace fueled by wood or gas. Three more fan-lights cap the French doors and multipaned windows in this el-egant, high-ceilinged space.
Fully open to the kitchen, the sprawling family room boasts a sec-ond fireplace and offers patio access on two sides. Twin window seats
create cozy alcoves by the rear-facing French doors. Kitchen ameni-ties include: a T-shaped work island with prep sink, built-in applianc-es, and two pantries.
Utilities and a large combination guest/ hobby room are just
steps away. Natural light washes over the desk nestled into the win-dow bay, creating a great spot for sewing or other crafts.
An even wider bay window ex-pands the Macon’s palatial owners’ suite. Luxury features include: two large walk-in closets, direct patio access, and a large bathroom with oversize shower, spa tub, enclosed
water closet, and two van-ities.

The Bowman is intriguing in ap-pearance. It’s clearly a contempo-rary home, yet many of its exterior design elements hark back to the Craftsman era of the early 1900s.
You see it in the trademark win-dows: multiple panes over large, sin-gle lower panes. The garage doors, too, echo this pattern, with a row of multi-paned windows capping the grid design below. Other Crafts-man-style features include stoneveneer wainscoting anddecorative wood corbels.
Entering, you stepinto a wide, bright foyer with a lofty two-storyceiling. Double doors to the left open into a den, which could be used as a home office or a third bedroom, if desired. On the right, graceful col-umns frame openingsinto the living room and dining room/ kitchen, linked by more col-umned openings to aroomy, naturally illumi-nated family room.
Light spills into the living room through win-dows flanking the gasfireplace and anotherwindow on the side. In the kitchen, cupboards and counters wrap around three walls, encircling a large central work island with a conversation bar bounding the din-ing room. Lazy Susan shelves make corner cabinets fully accessible.
Along the side wall of thekitchen/dining room and familyroom, a parade of high transomwindows crowns the lower windows, including the sliding glass doorsthat access a small covered patio.
The large utility room is outfit-ted with a deep sink, cabinets and a counter for folding clothes.
Bedrooms are upstairs. Both the owners’ suite and the second bed-room have walk-in closets and pri-vate bathrooms. But in the Bow- man’s owners’ suite, the closet,
sleeping area and bath-room are all larger.Luxury amenities here include a spa tub, over-sized shower, dual vani-ty and enclosed toilet.

The Brittany is a midsize home with the possibility of up to five bedrooms. But the two rooms to the right of the entry might just as easily be put to other uses: hobby room, home entertainment center, work-out space, etc. The simpleaddition of a direct entry doorfrom the porch could transform the den/guest room into a home office.
Light streams into the entrythrough a sidelight and transom. This naturally bright space is ajunction for a multiplicity ofrooms and hallways.
To the left is the dining room (or parlor). Through an archedopening, you can take the hallway to secondary bedrooms, or gostraight ahead to the kitchen and nook. On the right, your choices include a central bathroom, vault-ed den/guest suite/home office, or
hallway to the owners’ suite and a study (or bedroom).
Windows fill most of two walls in the vaulted family room, andmore light washes in through slid-ing glass doors in the nook. A gas fireplace tucked in the rear corner serves as a warm focal point when darkness falls or skies turn gray.
Working in the kitchen, you can keep tabs on goings-on throughout the family room, nook and patio. Cupboard and counter space areamply supplied, and the long eat-ing bar keeps family members and guests out of the way while allow-ing them to chat with kitchenworkers. Laundry appliances arenearby, in a pass- through utilityroom that con-nects to thethree-car garage.
Amenities in the Brittany’s own-ers’ suite include a large walk-in closet, dual vanity, private water closet, and an oversize walk-inshower. The owners’ suite also of-fers direct access to the patio.

Homeownership is important formost Americans. During 2000, theU.S. homeownership rate reached67.7%, the highest rate ever. Ahome is a financial asset and more:it’s a place to live and raise children;it’s a plan for the future; it’s aninvestment in your community.
Knowledge is said to open doors. This is literally true when it comesto buying a home. To become afirst-time homebuyer, you need toknow where and how to begin thehome buying process. The followingquestions and answers have beencarefully selected to give you a foun-dation of basic knowledge. Here area few key issues or questions toconsider when buying or building ahome.
1. How does purchasing a homecompare with renting? The two don’t really compare at all.The one advantage of renting isbeing generally free of most mainte-
nance responsibilities. But by rent-ing, you lose the chance to buildequity, take advantage of tax bene-fits, and protect yourself against rentincreases. Also, you may not be freeto decorate without permission andmay be at the mercy of the landlordfor housing.
Owning a home has many benefits. When you make a mortgage pay-ment, you are building equity. Andthat’s an investment. Owning ahome also qualifies you for taxbreaks that assist you in dealingwith your new financial responsibili-ties- like insurance, real estate taxes, and upkeep- which can be substan-tial. But given the freedom, stability, and security of owning your ownhome, they are worth it.
2. How does the lender decide themaximum loan amount that I canafford? The lender considers your debt-to-income ratio, which is a comparisonof your gross (pre-tax) income tohousing and non-housing expenses.
Non-housing expenses include suchlong-term debts as car or studentloan payments, alimony, or childsupport. According to the FHA,monthly mortgage payments shouldbe no more than 29% of grossincome, while the mortgage pay-ment, combined with non-housingexpenses, 4 should total no morethan 41% of income. The lender alsoconsiders cash available for downpayment and closing costs, credithistory, etc. when determining yourmaximum loan amount.
3. How can I determine my housingneeds before I begin the search?Your home should fit way you live, with spaces and features that appealto the whole family. Before youbegin looking at homes, make a listof your priorities - things like loca-tion and size. Should the house beclose to certain schools? your job?to public transportation? How largeshould the house be? What type oflot do you prefer? What kinds ofamenities are you looking for?Establish a set of minimum require-ments and a ‘wish list.” Minimumrequirements are things that a housemust have for you to consider it,while a “wish list” covers things thatyou’d like to have but aren’t essen-tial.
4. What should I look for whendeciding on a community?Select a community/location that willallow you to best live your daily life. Many people choose communitiesbased on schools. Do you wantaccess to shopping and publictransportation? Is access to localfacilities like libraries and museumsimportant to you? Or do you preferthe peace and quiet of a rural com-munity? When you find places thatyou like, talk to people that livethere. They know the most about thearea and will be your future neigh-bors. More than anything, you wanta neighborhood where you feel com-fortable in.
5. How can I find out about localschools? You can get information aboutschool systems by contacting thecity or county school board or thelocal schools. Your real estate agentmay also be knowledgeable aboutschools in the area.
6. How can I find out about com-munity resources?Contact the local chamber of com-merce for promotional literature ortalk to your real estate agent aboutwelcome kits, maps, and other infor-
mation. You may also want tovisit the local library. It can be anexcellent source for informationon local events and resources, and the librarians will probablybe able to answer many of thequestions you have.
7. How can I find out how muchhomes are selling for in specificcommunities and neighbor-hoods?Your real estate agent can giveyou a ballpark figure by showingyou comparable listings. If youare working with a real estateprofessional, they may haveaccess to comparable salesmaintained on a database.
8. How can I find information onthe property tax liability? The total amount of the previousyear’s property taxes is usuallyincluded in the listing informa-tion. If it’s not, ask the seller for atax receipt or contact the localassessor’s off ice. Tax rates canchange from year to year, sothese figures may be approxi-mate.
9. What other tax issues shouldI take into consideration?Keep in mind that your mortgageinterest and real estate taxes willbe deductible. A qualified realestate professional can give youmore details on other tax benefitsand liabilities,
10. What should I look for whenwalking through a home?In addition to comparing thehome to your minimum require-ment and wish lists, use the HUDHome Scorecard and considerthe following:
• Is there enough room for boththe present and the future?
• Are there enough bedroomsand bathrooms?
• Is the house structurallysound?
• Do the mechanical systemsand appliances work?
• Is the yard big enough? • Do you like the floor plan? • Will your furniture fit in the
space? Is there enough storagespace? (Bring a tape measure tobetter answer these questions.)
• Does anything need torepaired or replaced? Will theseller repair or replace the items? Imagine the house in goodweather and bad, and in eachseason. Will you be happy with ityear-round?

25 questions & answers
Dream Homes 2013 11
Take your time and think carefullyabout each house you see. Ask yourreal estate agent to point out thepros and cons of each home from aprofessional standpoint.
11. What questions should I askwhen looking at homes? Many of your questions shouldfocus on potential problems andmaintenance issues. Does anythingneed to be replaced? What thingsrequire ongoing maintenance (e.g.,paint, roof, HVAC, appliances, car-pet)? Also ask about the house andneighborhood, focusing on qualityof life issues. Be sure the seller’s orreal estate agent’s answers are clearand complete. Ask questions untilyou understand all of the informa-tion they’ve given. Making a list ofquestions ahead of time will helpyou organize your thoughts andarrange all of the information youreceive. The HUD Home Scorecardcan help you develop your questionlist.
12. What does a home inspectordo, and how does an inspectionfigure in the purchase of a home?An inspector checks the safety ofyour potential new home. HomeInspectors focus especially on thestructure, construction, andmechanical systems of the houseand will make you aware of onlyrepairs that are needed.
The Inspector does not evaluatewhether or not you’re getting goodvalue for your money. Generally, aninspector checks (and gives pricesfor repairs on): the electrical system, plumbing and waste disposal, thewater heater, insulation andVentilation, the HVAC system, watersource and quality, the potentialpresence of pests, the foundation, doors, windows, ceilings, walls, floors, and roof. Be sure to hire ahome inspector that is qualified andexperienced.
It’s a good idea to have an inspec-tion before you sign a written offersince, once the deal is closed, you’ve bought the house as is.” Or,you may want to include an inspec-tion clause in the offer when negoti-ating for a home. An inspection tclause gives you an ‘out” on buyingthe house if serious problems arefound, or gives you the ability torenegotiate the purchase price ifrepairs are needed. An inspectionclause can also specify that the sell-
er must fix the problem(s) beforeyou purchase the house.
13. Do I need to be there for theinspection? It’s not required, but it’s a good idea.Following the inspection, the homeinspector will be able to answerquestions about the report and anyproblem areas. This is also anopportunity to hear an objectiveopinion on the home you’d I like topurchase and it is a good time toask general, maintenance questions.
14. Are other types of inspectionsrequired? If your hom 8 and you have chil-dren under the age of seven, youwill want to have an inspection forlead-based point. It’s important toknow that lead flakes from paint canbe present in both the home and inthe soil surrounding the house. Theproblem can be fixed temporarily byrepairing damaged paint surfaces orplanting grass over effected soil.Hiring a lead abatement contractorto remove paint chips and seal dam-aged areas will fix the problem per-manently.
16. Are power lines a health haz-ard?There are no definitive research find-ings that indicate exposure to powerlines results in greater instances ofdisease or illness.
17. Do I need a lawyer to buy ahome?Laws vary by state. Some statesrequire a lawyer to assist in severalaspects of the home buying processwhile other states do not, as long asa qualified real estate professional isinvolved. Even if your state doesn’trequire one, you may want to hire alawyer to help with the complexpaperwork and legal contracts. Alawyer can review contracts, makeyou aware of special considerations, and assist you with the closingprocess. Your real estate agent maybe able to recommend a lawyer. Ifnot, shop around. Find out whatservices are provided for what fee,and whether the attorney is experi-enced at representing homebuyers.
18. Do I really need homeowner’sinsurance?Yes. A paid homeowner’s insurancepolicy (or a paid receipt for one) isrequired at closing, so arrangementswill have to be made prior to thatday. Plus, involving the insuranceagent early in the home buying
process can save you money.Insurance agents are a greatresource for information on homesafety and they can give tips on howto keep insurance premiums low.
19. What steps could I take tolower my homeowner’s insurancecosts?Be sure to shop around among sev-eral insurance companies. Also, consider the cost of insurance whenyou look at homes. Newer homesand homes constructed with materi-als like brick tend to have lower pre-miums. Think about avoiding areasprone to natural disasters, like flood-ing. Choose a home with a firehydrant or a fire department nearby.
20. Is the home located in a floodplain?Your real estate agent or lender canhelp you answer this question. Ifyou live in a flood plain, the lenderwill require that you have floodinsurance before lending any moneyto you. But if you live near a floodplain, you may choose whether ornot to get flood insurance coveragefor your home. Work with an insur-ance agent to construct a policy thatfits your needs.
21. What other issues should I con-sider before I buy a home?Always check to see if the house isin a low-lying area, in a high-riskarea for natural disasters (like earth-quakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc.),or in a hazardous materials area. Besure the house meets buildingcodes. Also consider local zoninglaws, which could affect remodelingor making an addition in the future.Your real estate agent should beable to help you with these ques-tions.
22. How do I make an offer?Your real estate agent will assist youin making an offer, which willinclude the following information:
• Complete legal description of theproperty
• Amount of earnest money • Down payment and financing
details • Proposed move-in date • Price you are offering • Proposed closing date • Length of time the offer is valid • Details of the deal
Remember that a sale commitmentdepends on negotiating a satisfacto-ry contract with the seller, not just
making an offer.Other ways to lower ins-insurancecosts include insuring your homeand car(s) with the same company, increasing home security, and seek-ing group coverage through alumnior business associations. Insurancecosts are always lowered by raisingyour deductibles, but this exposesyou to a higher out-of-pocket cost ifyou have to file a claim.23. How do I determine the initialoffer?Unless you have a buyer’s agent, remember that the agent works forthe seller. Make a point of askinghim or her to keep your discussionsand information confidential. Listento your real estate agent’s advice, but follow your own instincts ondeciding a fair price. Calculatingyour offer should involve severalfactors: what homes se ll for in thearea, the home’s condition, howlong it’s been on the market, financ-ing terms, and the seller’s situation.By the time you’re ready to make anoffer, you should have a good ideaof what the home is worth and whatyou can afford. And, be prepared forgive-and-take negotiation, which isvery common when buying a home. The buyer and seller may often goback and forth until they can agreeon a price.
24. What is “earnest” money? How much should I set aside?Earnest money is money put downto demonstrate your seriousnessabout buying a home. It must besubstantial enough to demonstrategood faith and is usually between 1-5% of the purchase price (thoughthe amount can vary with local cus-toms and conditions). If your offer isaccepted, the earnest moneybecomes part of your down paymentor closing costs. If the offer isrejected, your money is returned toyou. If you back out of a deal, youmay forfeit the entire amount.
25. What are the “home war-ranties”, and should I considerthem?Home warranties offer you protec-tion for a specific period of time(e.g., one year) against potentiallycostly problems, like unexpectedrepairs on appliances or home sys-tems, which are not covered byhomeowner’s insurance. Warrantiesare becoming more popular becausethey offer protection during the timeimmediately following the purchaseof a home, a time when many peo-ple find themselves cash-strapped.

Traditional Cape Cod housesinspired the creation of the Castor. Its shingle-clad exterior allows the home to fit discreetly into a wooded or beach-side setting, while its sim-ple, compact, massed shape makes it inexpensive to build, and efficient to heat. The plan is equally appropriate for construction as a year-rounddwelling or a vacation retreat.
Entering, you step directly into a large open space that stretches from the front all the way to the rear. A wide coat closet fits neatly into the back of the vestibule on the left, which is next to the stairs.
Natural light beams into the liv-ing room through multipaned win-dows on two sides, and this area is entirely open to the dining room, which in turn flows on to thekitchen.
In the kitchen, a large work is-land adds to the already generous counter and cupboard space, and a roomy pantry adds even more stor-age capacity. Laundry appliances are nearby in a pass-through utility
room that leads out onto a side stoop. A broom closet
with shelves and a convenientpowder room are also tucked into this hallway.
The home office, off the kitchen at the rear, is in an ideal location for handling household accounts, or even running a small, office-based business. It could also be a study, housing books, files, and a family-shared computer.
Three bedrooms, a full bath-room and a loft are upstairs in the Castor. The loft could be outfitted as a study area or library. Theowners’ suite has a surprisinglylarge walk-in closet and charming railed balcony that faces the front.
The bathroom has a double van-ity, combination tub and shower, and ample towel storage. Secondary bedrooms also have large closets.

A stucco-cladcontemporary, the Chatsworth alsosports a smart dash ofS p a n i s hCo lon i a lflavor. Itscomposition roof could just as easily be red tile if the owners wish to further emphasize that style. A three-car garage is set at a diag-onal to most of the indoor living space.
Although this home has onlytwo bedrooms, it’s not your aver-age two-bedroom home. Gener-ously sized gathering spaces make it ideal for families who enjoy en-tertaining. If needed, the den could serve as a third bedroom, or acombination office/guest room.
Light washes into the wide foy-er through sidelights and transom windows. The ceiling here is alofty 10 feet in height, and theflooring is hardwood or tile. Hard-wood flooring is also found in the family room, kitchen, hallway, powder roomand utility room. Therest of the rooms arecarpeted.
On the left of thefoyer, an arched open-ing leads into the com-bination living roomand dining room. This
spacious room, too, has a 10-foot ceiling, trayed for a touch of subtle elegance.
The kitchen/family room is gen-erously sized and wide open.Standing at the kitchen range, you can converse with people in thefamily room, or gaze out the wide side windows to take in the exteri-or landscape. A roomy walk-inpantry adds to the abundant stor-age space.
Windows flank the direct vent fireplace that anchors the rear wall of thefamily room. A home entertainment centernestles in one corner. Glass doors open onto a skylit covered patio supported by statelycolumns.
Amenities in the
Chatsworth’s owners’ suite in-clude: a spacious bathroom, andtwo large walk-in closets withshelved hutches.

Refreshing Mediterranean influ-ences inspire the contemporarySpanish Grandeza. Stucco arches and columns combine with round- arched windows and a tile roof to give the plan a sunny ambiancethat is equally evocative of theAmerican Southwest.
This home is almost as natural-ly bright inside as out. At center is a high-ceilinged, hexagonal great room where arched windows fillmost of three rear walls. The patio that wraps acrossthe entire back has four accesspoints, so it’seasy to move out of doors
when sunny weather beckons. When the weather turns chilly, the warmth of the pellet stove will be welcome.
A spacious kitchen fills most of one hexagonal segment. Counters on four sides offer plenty of room for food prep, and a long, raised eat-ing bar rims the peninsular counter nearest the din-ing area. A pan-try nestles intoan alcove creat-ed by the up-per flight of a centrally
located stairway.Upstairs, French double doors
in the vaulted hexagonal recreation room open onto a rear balcony. On the opposite side of the room, a V-shaped railing allows people to safely overlook the entry. Win-dowed on five sides, this brightand lofty room has its own bath-room and makes a great place for rainy day play. It could be outfit-ted as a study, home office, guest room, art studio or whatever suits.
The Grandeza’s luxurious own-ers’ suite fills the right wing. Its
skylit bathroom boasts a dualvanity, spa tub, linen closet,
shower and private toilet. Thewalk-in closet is quite large. Two more bedrooms share a bathroom in the left wing, close to the large utility room that links the house and garage.
Visit AssociatedDesigns.comfor more information or to search our home plans. A review plan of the Grandeza 10-136, includingfloor plans, elevations, section, and artist’s conception, can be pur-chased for $25. Our home plan

The two wings stretching outfrom the Heartcrest’s hexagonalcore appear to extend a welcoming embrace to family and friends. They wrap around a recessed entry court-yard that focuses attention on the vaulted porch entry.
Handsome stone ve-neer bases link the nos-talgic handrails and under-lie the wooden porch sup-ports. Stone veneer wainscot-ing rims the entire exterior pe-rimeter, while rustic cedarshakes cover the upper sec-tions and painted shuttershighlight the windows.
The back side, with itswide deck spanning the entire rear, is equally attractive. Its vaulted, covered deck is a dramatic eyecatcher.
Inside, another lofty, vaulted ceil-ing expands the sense of spacious-ness in the window-bright entry and rear half of the great room. Coat closets flank the front door, andmore light washes down through the overhead dormer.
Standing there, you have four choices of direction. The owners’ suite and den/office are down the hallway to the far left. Living room access is near left and the kitchen is near right. Secondary bedrooms, a bathroom, utilities, basement stairs and garage access are down thehallway.
The kitchen ceiling is flat. This space is almost totally open to the
g r e a troom. Along, raised eating barbounds oneedge, creating an in-viting locale forsnacking, chatting, and homework supervision. Cupboard and counter space is plentiful, boosted by a cen-tral work island and a roomy pantry.
Windows fill most of three walls in the vaulted great room. Four atri-um doors offer access to the vaulted, covered deck at center back, and more light spills in through tall win-dows on both sides of the fireplace.
The Heartcrest’s owners’ suite
boasts a spacious sitting area, large walk-in closet, and luxurious, sky-lit bathroom.

As the Kodiak amply illustrates, log cabins just keep getting better. This modern log home blends rustic appeal with all the amenities you’d expect to find in a contemporary home. The plan is designed forconstruction on a lot with a down slope on the view side.
An array of windows sparkleacross the central section, whichhas a traditional A-frame shape. The home’s entry is on the opposite side, where you come in through a vaulted and covered porch, rimmed by log handrails. Entering, you step into the great room, where an abundance oflight washes in throughwindows ontwo levels. The room isvaulted on the vista side, and a free-standing wood stovenestles into the left corner by the windows.
On theright, the great room is open to a C-shapedkitchen. Counters and cupboards wrap around parts of three sides, while a cook-top work island an-chors the center. The kitchen offers
side and rear views, while morelight spills down through a skylight.
A kitchen door leads onto a wide suspended deck that spans the rear, ideal for outdoor living when the weather allows. The kitchen also links to a pantry and a utility room with direct access to the garage. A convenient powder room is right around the corner.
The owner’s suite fills the opposite wing. It, too, offers deck access and yet another set of windowswith magnificent views.
A skylight brightens the bathroom, which is located next to a deepwalk-in closet.
Everything upstairs in the Kodi-ak is vaulted, including the loft, bedroom, bathroom and walk-incloset. A richly windowed, unfin-ished daylight basement is below.

Relaxed and spacious, the Pal-ermo is designed to suit families who prefer an informal lifestyle.Family living spaces flow together at the rear in the naturally bright vaulted great room. The room by the entry could be outfitted as a media room, study, or home office.
Storage space is generousthroughout, with cabinets and clos-ets in the entry, great room, kitch-en, owners’ suite, and utility room, not to mention the three-car garage.
The entry’s lofty ceiling is 12 feet high, and begins sloping up as you move into the great room. A parade of windows spangles theback and side walls, while a gas fireplace fits neatly into a corner. Deep shelving is ample for hous-ing a home entertainment center.
A long conversation bar with an overhead plant shelf marks thekitchen boundary without cutting it off from the larger space. Some-one standing at the kitchen range can survey the entire room, or gaze
past the skylit dining area through French doors to watch the chang-ing seasons. A partially coveredpatio spans the rear.
Utilities and a compact bathroom are nearby, nestled in a pass-through space that leads to the garage.
French double doors in the lav-ish owners’ suite offer direct patio access. A perfect spot for a hot tub is right around the corner. Other amenities include two huge walk-in closets and an owners’ bath with double vanity, enclosed toilet, over-sized shower and deep soaking tub.
The front of the Palermo’s two secondary bedrooms is vaulted. Its boxed bay provides an ideal loca-tion for a wide window seat with built-in drawers.

Three round and stately columns highlight the Beaufort’s recessed front porch. This contemporary Georgian home has wide passage-ways and is all on one level, which makes it easily adaptable for wheel-chair accessibility.
Turned bricks cap the brick ve-neer wainscoting that accents lower sections of the front facade, while shingled siding adds textural variety. Attractive triple panes fill upper sec-tions in many of the window units.
Inside, a wide arch on the right leads into a room that could be ei-ther a dining room or a parlor. The built-in buffet/hutch that nestles into a long alcove near the kitchen is ide-al for laying out festive meals or snacks. The vaulted room immedi-ately to the left of the entry could be a den, guest room, or home office.
A centrally located bathroom is mere steps away from both of these rooms, as well as the three large gathering spaces that flow together at the rear. The vaulted family room is windowed on two sides, and a mess-free gas fireplace creates a focal point in one of the rear corners.
Standing at the kitchen sink, the scope of your view takes in
the family room, nook, patio, and beyond. The eating bar is great for conversation and home-work supervision as well. Sections of counter space are available on all four sides of the kitchen, and a large walk-in pan-try fills one corner.
Laundry appliances and a deep sink are nearby, in a pass-through room that links with the Beaufort’s two-car garage.
The luxurious owners’ suite boasts a dual vanity, an angled cul-tured-marble shower, private toilet, and roomy walk-in closet. The bed-room next to it could be used as an
adjacent study. Two more bedrooms and a two-section bathroom are on the opposite side of the house.
