So what did the learners think???

• The movies are a good idea.• It is good to see the machinery working where

they themselves will be using the equipment.• Movie was good and the pictures were great!

Tibooburra course

• It is good to see real life examples of theory you are learning.

• DVD could be used in conjunction with work books or activity sheets.

• Please add slides on seat belt, horn, steering, headlights, blinkers, grease points, controls, hand break.

• Point out the difference between the compliance plate and the data plate and where they are both located.

• We all feel capable of using Digital cameras, Photo Story 3 and PowerPoint to create learning tools for our students to use.

• We have all become more aware of the different types of technology that can be used to assist our students progress at their own pace.

• We anticipate the use and value of technology like camera phones and moblogging that can be used to gather supporting evidence for students in remote areas, teachers in assessing remote areas and gathering evidence for RPL.

• Having created a DVD of our pre start checks, is the equipment we use to show the DVD able to withstand being used in remote areas… Only time will tell.

• The need to modify and keep developing the Photo Stories and PowerPoint presentations to include other aspects of machinery operations.

• Students are able to relate the theory they learn to situations they are likely to come across.
