Noosa Council, in partnership with TransLink, are providing FREE public transport for everyone in the Noosa Shire from 14-21 April 2014. Catch a Noosa bus from any bus stop around the region or park for free at the Cooyar Street car park in Noosa Junction and ride from the Noosa Junction bus station. The annual Easter Treasure Hunt on Easter Saturday 19 April is open to the first 300 kids to register at the market office from 8am on the day (no need to pre-register). Each young treasure hunter will receive a delicious chocolate Easter bilby made by Eumundi’s Lief Chocolates. Kids craft workshops on Saturday 5 April, Wednesday 9 April, Saturday 12 April, Wednesday 16 April and Saturday 19 April (Easter Saturday) are led by local craft queen and ceramic artist Merrie Tomkins. Only $10 per participant, the workshops are designed for children (teenagers and adults also welcome if spaces permit). Kids can have their faces painted or enjoy a pony ride and there’s a great nearby park, Dick Caplick Park.
