Europe and the Middle East are dynamic and exciting places to
be involved in business aviation. The headlines may be filled
with economic concerns, but behind the scenes the corporate flight
departments, charter and aerial works operators of the region are
continuing with steady growth that has characterised the past
decade or more.
The aircraft fleet has grown again, by over five per cent since
October 2010. Specifically, the number of business jets in the
region is fast approaching the 4,000 mark, and turbine helicopter
numbers are over 5,350.
How do we know this? Well, for the past 20 years or more
European Business Air News has maintained its own comprehensive
database of every business jet, turboprop, cabin-class twin and
turbine helicopter in the region. We research the key personnel
responsible for each of these in order to build our subscriber list
and therefore have a highly valuable and accurate insight into the
state of the business aviation industry.
We then submit our data to outside scrutiny. Our independent
BPA audit gives our advertisers the peace of mind that their
message is going to be delivered to the most valuable audience of
existing and potential customers.
Once again this year we have sprinkled our media brochure with
statistics to illustrate the current situation, and to show how EBAN
remains the leading publication for business aviation in this vibrant
and expanding corner of the world.

Europe and the Middle East:a vast market for business aviation
At European Business Air News we know exactly how many business
aircraft there are in Europe and the Middle East. We track them
constantly, aiming to ensure that our magazine is mailed directly to the
decision-makers for every single one.
Readers of the October 2011 edition of EBAN were responsible for
12,999 aircraft, including 3,914 business jets, 5,396 turbine helicopters
and 1,390 turboprops.
This attention to detail means that our advertisers who provide
services to aircraft owners can be confident that they are reaching their
customers in the most comprehensive manner, while those who sell
new or pre-owned aircraft can target their most likely prospects by far.

EBAN in print and onlineIt all adds up to total coverage
Our audit, your peace of mindThe printed edition of EBAN is distributed to over 60 countries in Europe and the Middle East, using our own meticulously
researched database of aircraft and their owners/operators. For each twin piston, turbine prop, turbine helicopter and
business jet we aim to reach the owner, chief pilot and senior operations manager by name.
Our printed and web circulation is independently audited by BPA Worldwide.
According to a survey of around 1,500 EBAN readers, each copy of the magazine is read by an average of 5.8 individuals,
implying a total printed issue readership figure of around 35,000.
Out and about at the leading FBOsOver 850 more copies of our printed issue are provided for the lounges at 79 FBO facilities by specific arrangement, with a
conservative readership estimate of 8,000 individuals. Further copies are distributed at leading trade shows.
Driving readership by emailOn publication of each issue we email around 10,300 business aviation professionals, with links to each of our major
display advertisers and directing our readers to full stories on the EBAN web site.
Our news on the webEach month our magazine news pages on the web are viewed by around 5,000 unique visitors, brought to the site by our
email promotions and prominent positioning in the leading search engines. Top advertisers are listed on every page.
Our digital editionThe full edition, with display advertising in all its glory, is also available online in digital magazine format. The March 2010
edition received over 30,000 page views from 3,800 readers. Email and web links are embedded, at no extra cost for
all our advertisers.
The combination of 35,000 single printed copy readers, 8,000 FBO copy readers, 9,800 email recipients, 5,000
web visitors and 3,800 digital edition readers, now provides the most extensive coverage of European and Middle East
business aviation we have ever been able to offer.*

Exclusive news coverageThe headline news in European Business Air News is all about
aircraft owners and operators, their current activities and plans for
the future. The aircraft covered include the whole diversity of business
aviation in its widest sense, whether privately-flown cabin-class
piston twins, utility turbine helicopters, turboprops or business jets.
Geographically, the news remit spans the whole of Europe, Russia and
the Middle East.
EBAN readers find out what their peers, whether collaborators or
competitors, are doing. No other magazine maintains this focus. Some
of the stories we covered during 2011 are illustrated by the pictures at
the foot of each page of this brochure.
The coverage is completely independent, with no ‘advertorials’ or
product placements, and written by EBAN’s own team. This year again
it includes strong features, ever-popular regional reviews and a full
FBO/handling survey.
Also in 2011, our editorial coverage included our innovative
‘Perspectives’ features, profiling the working lives of business aviation
professionals.
The bottom line is that aircraft owners and operators consistently
find our coverage interesting and valuable, and that can only be great
news for our advertisers.
October ’11 : Gama Aviation introduce Cessna CJ2+ to its fleet and looks for new opportunities in Asia
April ‘11 : AirMed confirms plans to complete phase two of its neonatal transfer service by the end of this year with capacity for the transfer of twins

Making the most of major exhibitionsThe leading aviation exhibitions for business aviation attract huge
audiences these days, and many of the leading suppliers to the industry
play a prominent part in each. EBAN’s readers are your most important
sales prospects, and so it is important to attract them to your booth by
putting your message in front of them at the right moment ahead of
the events.
For example, of 1,473 readers surveyed recently over 650 said that
they will definitely be attending EBACE in Geneva. By advertising in
our May 2012 edition you can make sure they know you will be there
waiting.
There is no surcharge for our show preview editions, which often
have bonus on-site distribution. They are simply excellent value-
for-money. Be aware, though, that forward positions do tend to be
reserved early.

comprehensive market knowledgeworks for EBAN’s advertisersThe publishers of European Business Air News also
produce the leading pocket reference books for
the business aviation industry; the Handbooks of
Business Aviation in Europe and Asia Pacific, and
the Global Business Jet Yearbook.
These include comprehensively researched data
on airports and handlers, charter and maintenance
operators and support industries, as well as data
on the aircraft themselves. The knowledge we
gain by setting high standards in data acquisition
shines through in the editorial coverage in EBAN
and in the thorough and accurate distribution of
the magazine.
