Eco-Friendly, High-Performance Engine Liquid ProductsManufactured using eco-friendly construction relying on superior direct-bonding technology, these metal free elements utilize high grade Donaldson media such as our Synteq™ media technology which offers superior efficiency and high performance water separation. Filters using Synteq™ media also give engine fuel pumps and injectors a higher level of protection.

Synteq™ mediaDonaldson’s third generation of Synteq™ fuel filter water separator media uses both cellulose and melt-blown synthetic layers to achieve the highest levels of fuel filtration performance. This double-layered media has increased particulate holding capacity and is a high performance water separator. It has the ability for high efficiency emulsified water separation and can be used in both the suction and pressure sides of fuel systems – making it an ideal choice for critical applications or extended service intervals.

Direct bonding technologyEco-friendly construction of this latest generation of engine liquid filters achieved in part by direct bonding technology offers significant benefits, including:

Direct bonding of pleats in end cap material offers a higher effective media area, robustness and a leak-free element.

End cap material, reinforced with glass fibers, ensure higher strength, heat resistance and durability.

Ultrasonically welded seam seals provide a strong reliable bond.

2K molded rubber seal for oil filters using a leak-tight material provide a reliable seal.

Laser marked identification presents clear printing that won’t fade overtime or when exposed to hot liquids.
