Eligible Applicants

U.S. citizens (U.S. Veterans are

considered first among qualified

candidates).

Currently accepted or enrolled in a

school leading to a doctorate degree

in pharmacy.

Maintain acceptable academic

standing and progress leading to

graduation.

Other Considerations

All candidates are subject to a

background/suitability investigation.

Selection criteria includes academic

performance, work experience,

faculty and employer

recommendations, and career goals.

To officially accept the scholarship,

selected applicants must sign a

mobility agreement as well as an

agreement to complete a service

obligation of at least two years at a

VA health care facility after

graduating and obtaining necessary

licensure/certification.
