Embedding Change Agents to Nurture a Culture of Caring
Embedding Change Agents to Nurture a Culture of Caring
Intent to Contribute Statement: The EBY Nurse Practice committee has been established to endorse nursing policies. The committee determined that a new level of caring behaviors and culture were needed for the new hospital that was being constructed. The committee has embarked on a journey of rediscovering the fundamentals for the science of human caring and the delivery of nursing care. Our outcomes are to look at creating the committee who are comprised of representatives of each unit within the East Bay [OAK and RCH] to become change agents and role models for caring behaviors that will be the new culture of caring for the East Bay and particularly in the new Oakland Flagship hospital.
