How Encase Anti-transpirant worksTheactiveingredientsinENCASEarenontoxic,film-formingshortchainpolymerscalledCyclohexanepolymers.Thesepolymersmechanicallylimitplanttranspiration.Cyclohexanepolymersarederivedfromspecificfractionsofpineresinmaterials.ThecyclohexanepolymersinENCASEwhensprayedontheleafsurfaceandexposedtosunlightandair,undergoaprocessofpolymerisationtoformlongerchain,higherweightedmolecules.AfterthewaterappliedwithENCASEevaporates,asoft,flexible,multi-layeredfilmisformedwhichdegradesslowlyovertime,layerbylayer.ThefilmprovidedwithENCASEmechanicallylimitsplanttranspirationandmoistureloss,providingarangeofplantbenefitsincludingimprovementsinheat,drought,transplantandcolddesiccationstress.

Turf:ENCASEAnti-transpirantisappliedatarateof5-20L/ha(50-200mL/100m2)inturfsituations.Ensurefullcoverageoftheturfleaf,tomaximiseperformance.NoadditionalspreaderisneededwithENCASE.ApplyENCASEatleastonehour,duringdaylight,beforeananticipatedrainfallevent.Sunlightforthistimeperiod,iscriticalfortheprotectivefilmtoset.ENCASEdriesonplantstoformaclear,glossyfilmwhichretardsnormalmoisturelosswithoutmajorinterferencetoplantgrowthorrespiration.EnsureturfbeingtreatedwithENCASEisnotstressed(highorlowtemperaturesorlackofwaterorwaterlogging)beforeapplication.Itisimportanttomaintainadequatesoilmoisturepriortoandpostapplicationoftheanti-transpirant.
