COMMUNICATON
Facial Expressionscomprise much of our nonverbal
communication. We have 80 facial muscles with which we can create over 7,000 facial expressions.
Six main types of facial expressions
Occulesics eye behavior
Our eyes communicate in ways other than facial expressions.
Appearance & Artifacts
refer to the dress, grooming, and jewelry we wear.
Physical attractiveness
is one of the types of nonverbal communication. However it turns out that sometimes body types can communicate meanings and even fuel stereotypes. The body types actually create stereotypes even though they do not determine personality. Scientifically there are considered to be three general body types.
Kinesics
is the study of the relationship between nonlinguistic body motions and communication.

Body language is a form of non-verbal communication, which consists of body postures, gestures.
Paralinguistic
Paralinguistic is the study of vocal communication, separate from actual language. These are the vocal cues that make up the second pillar of great public speaking, the manner in which we say words.
Proxemic
communication is communicating with others by virtue of the relative positioning of your bodies.
Vertical distance
can communicate dominance and subordination.
Haptics
nonverbal communication through touch.
Olfactics
Even smells communicate.
Chronemics
nonverbal communication of time.
