B. Controlled anger

(Joh 2:14-16) And found in the temple those that sold oxen and

sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: And when he had made a scourge of

small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and

the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; And said unto them

that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's

house an house of merchandise.

(1Pe 2:21) For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for

us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

(1Pe 2:22) Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

(1Pe 2:23) Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself

to him that judgeth righteously:

(1Sa 18:10) And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from

God came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst

of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and there was

a javelin in Saul's hand.

(1Sa 11:6) And the Spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard those tidings, and

his anger was kindled greatly.

forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;

(2Co 2:11) Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are

not ignorant of his devices.
