An Erasmus Mundus Masters Course or Joint Doctorate…

• is developed and delivered by a consortium of higher education institutions (HEIs)

• must involve at least three European HEIs and may involve non-EU HEIs

• includes study in at least two European HEIs• awards full-study scholarships + scholar grants• receives EU funding for scholarships and

management• provides a joint degree/multiple degreesCurrent Call aims to select up to 38 Masters Courses

and 10 Joint Doctorates 11

• Paper copies not required• E-mailed version to Agency not required• Electronic version of eForm and annexes

Action 2 Partnerships

• Partnerships between higher education institutions (HEIs) from EU + non-EU HEIs from a specific region

• Emphasise cooperation, transfer of know-how• Scholarships of varying lengths (3 months to 3

years) for academic disciplines offered by HEIs in the partnership

• Bachelor, Masters, Doctorate, Post-Doctorate students + HEI staff (training, teaching, research)

Current Call aims to select 53 partnerships

cooperation: • in specific geographical areas• in particular academic disciplines• relating to higher education management
