Liam O Connell & his team deep in thought at the table quiz
Just updates on U12 Camogie.We are back training indoors in Erins
Own Club House on Tuesday night '5.30-6.45.We will stay at this time
and venue until the pitches reopen.
The Under 6/8 &10 Camogie teams started back training in the Carrigtwohill
all weather field on Saturday the 1st of March. They will remain training here
for 4 weeks from 9:30am to 10:30am.
Our numbers are small, but to our advantage our numbers in coaches are
high which gives us a great opportunity to give out a more detailed training

J.A.F.L. Midleton 2:5. Erins Own 1:8 Draw
We travelled to Midleton on Sunday the 16th to kick off our junior A football campaign for 2014, conditions weren't bad for this time of year, Midleton wasted no time in getting on the score board by finding the net twice in the first 15 minutes, Erins Own responded well with a goal & a point & played some good football, we went in at the break trailing on a scoreline of Midleton 2-1 Erins Own 1-2, with some good defensive play in the second half we kept Medleton to 3 points for the whole half & with a point deep in injury time we came away with a deservable draw. Niall Scanlon, Cathal O Mahony & Cian O Callaghan played well for Erins Own.

Our Senior Hurling team opened their season when they travelled to Ballinspittle for a challenge game against Courcey Rovers on Saturday the 15th & despite the heavy weather conditions they managed to come away with a win on a scoreline of Erins Own 2-13 Courcey Rovers 0-12.

RedFM to Continue Sponsorship of SHL
The RedFM Senior Hurling League was launched on Monday, February
24th at Sarsfields pavilion, with all sixteen participating clubs in
attendance, along with RedFM CEO Diarmuid O’Leary, who re-affirmed
the station’s commitment to supporting GAA in Cork, Erins Own travel to
Newtownshandrum on Sunday the 9th of March @ 12pm to play their
first game in the RedFM senior hurling league

Saturday the 1st of March saw the under 6's starting their training season in
Caherlag, with the likes of Michael Mulcahy, Sean Twohig, Liam Hegarty & Ger
Dineen to name but few in control, the lads were in safe hands, they had a
variety of sets & drills lined up for the boys who thoroughly enjoyed everyone of
them, training lasts from 10:30am to 12pm every Saturday morning where lots
of fun & knowledge is gained by all.

Take your team on a tour of Croke
Park Stadium, visit the interactive
GAA Museum and enjoy lunch
for just €10 per child. One mentor
goes free with every ten children.
Your team can go behind the
scenes at Croke Park and enjoy an
access-all-areas trip through the
home of Irish sport. The group
will pay a visit to the team
dressing rooms and walk pitchside
via the players' tunnel - just like
their GAA heroes!
Croke Park Stadium Tours also
include access to the corporate
level, the VIP section and media
centre and our experienced guides
offer a unique insight into match
days at GAA Headquarters.
Groups can spend time in the
GAA Museum and test their
Gaelic Games skills in the
purpose-built interactive area.
Games include the popular
hurling speed test, gaelic football
accuracy trial, high catch
competition and concentration
challenge.
Juvenile GAA groups can also
have their photographs taken with
the Sam Maguire and Liam
MacCarthy trophies (subject to
availability) or use the GAA
Museum auditorium for medal
presentations.
