of green buildings that aims to help building

owners and operators be environmentally

responsible and use resources efficiently

LFS Yangpu certified LEED PLATINUM

• 1st school in China

BACK TO SCHOOL 2019: SEVERAL DECISIONSCOMMITTED TOWARD THIS TARGET

• Different back to school dates for LFS & DSS (Shanghai German School)

▪ construction over by beginning of the summer

• Back to school in Yangpu on 9 September 2019 for LFS

▪ all licenses in hand

▪ all measures taken to ensure safety of staff and students

▪ different back to school dates for Qingpu (August 28) and Yangpu sites

• Sports center open before end 2019 (ASC as usual, on sports field)

• Theatre and swimming pool in 2020 (swimming classes in nearby pool)

▪ a project started, greenlighted and carried since 2012 by parents

▪ support of French and German consulates

▪ construction planning steered by Colliers international

▪ strong interest and support from local, municipal authorities

Project placed under the authority of Yangpu Major Projects Office (MPO), all departments are aware of the projects and cooperateto ensure smooth licensing procedures

▪ anticipation with SHMEC (Education) to prepare Education licence process

▪ coordination with 10 bureaus of Yangpu District in charge of construction acceptances(firefighting, environment, air quality,…) for tests and reporting as construction is completed

▪ at the same time: launch of SHMEC Licensing process
