When creating my evaluation answers I tried to be as
creative as possible. For the first question ‘In what ways
does your media product use, develop or challenge forms
and conventions of real media products?’, I decided
to present it as a PowerPoint. I did this because I thought it was appropriate and allowed me to add the correct amount
of pictures and text.
Here is the PowerPoint I created:
For the second evaluation question ‘How effective is the
combination of your main product and ancillary tasks?’, I created a Prezi. This allowed
me to add creativity to the piece rather than have simple
text and images. The animation within the Prezi enabled me to spread my
information out more, which meant there wasn’t too much
writing bunched together.
Here is the Prezi I created:
For the third evaluation I split my answer up into four sections. The first section was based on
feedback from my classmates and teachers. I
presented it the information within a
PowerPoint. This worked well as I could then easily
analyse the feedback I received and show how I need to use it to progress
my music video.

The second section was
presented in a Scribd document. Within this I used colours, text and
images. I feel that the layout was
appropriate because it was clearly laid out for the reader.
The third section consisted of a
questionnaire I had carried out on our Digipak and Poster
and then a PowerPoint that
explained the knowledge I had gained from it (I
print screened the answers then drew
arrows and commented on each one). By creating a questionnaire on Google Docs and
posting it on Facebook it was
easy for my target audience to answer.

For the last section of Evaluation Question
Three I posted a video. I had shown
someone who fell into our target audience our initial screening
video and asked them to give me feedback on what to improve. I them recorded myself
talking about what needed to be
improved. Through Windows Movie
Maker I was able to add titles and
transitions into the video. I then used
Vid-Me-Up to add the video to my Blog.
Here is the Video I created:
For the fourth evaluation question ‘How did you
use new media technologies in the
construction, research, planning and evaluation stages?’ I created two Prezi’s and a Scribd
Document.
The first Prezi I created were based on the
technologies I had used for construction,
research and planning for my Ancillary Tasks.
The template that I used I felt fitted with the
comments I made and the animation made it
look exciting.
I used the same template for my second Prezi which was on my Music Video. I chose to use the same template
in order to have continuity between the
two.

For the third section to this question I created a Scribd document (this document!) which focused on the technologies I used when creating the evaluation answers. I thought that the Scribd document allowed me to clearly show the reason why I chose a particular programme to present and answer, along
with the picture next to it.
Here is the Scribd Document I created:
Overall I feel that I really varied my use of media technologies throughout my construction, research, planning and evaluation
stages. I clearly developed and analysed all the information and creative ideas I obtained and put them into clear uses of
media technologies.
