Bad weather delays a trip; BE!re-calculates the impact based on overall state in real-time!

Operators analyze the impact with LDM in real-time, re-calculates train “blocking,” and take action through integrated BW fabric!

Operations returns to normal, customers alerted!

All systems go: timing estimates calculated in real-time by BE, Live Datamart continuous query processor powers UI!

Operations uses live dashboard to create alert for delays (weather, equipment, etc)

CVA simulator creates a delay (e.g., weather, equipment problem)

Alert appears in the LiveView UI

BE assesses systematic effects of single trip alert and generates status update alerts for impacted trips

LiveView shows that trip 2202 will be 28 minutes late, so trip 2211 will now be 8 minutes delayed

The situation on the track has been resolved, so the alert can be cleared.

Train now resumes normal speed - although still delayed - trip 2202 no

longer impacts the next trip
