SUPPLIESFleece fabric, any color 8" x 20"Felt: black, white, and any color
DIRECTIONS1. Cut out all pieces as indicated on pattern. Cut glove (piece A) from fleece. Cut eye parts (pieces B-E) from felt. Mark each A piece with a pin at each dot.
2. Assemble eyes (B-E) and attach the pieces to each other by either sewing, gluing, or bonding them together using a fusing web product like Wonder-Under.
3. Pin each completed eye to glove piece A, with top of eye 1" down from edge and centered side-to-side on A. Be sure to attach an eye to one piece A so that the dots are on the right-hand side and to another piece A so that the dots are on the left-hand side .
4. Sew around the black edge of each eye.
5. Pin, right sides of A together, matching dots, pairing one glove piece A with an eye and one glove piece A without an eye. Only pin along side of A that has dots at this time.
6. Using a 1/2" seam allowance, sew together leaving section between dots unstitched. Do a few reinforcement stitches at each dot, as this will be your thumb holes.
7. Open stitched glove flat. Finger press the seam open. Top-stitch 1/4" away from the seam on both sides of the seam, catching the open seam in your stitching.
8. Fold glove right sides together. Pin and sew the remaining side of the glove using a 1/4" seam. If glove is too loose, sew a larger seam allowance.
9. Turn glove and wear with eyes on your palms. Raise your hands in protest!
OPTIONSIf you would like to hem the edges of your gloves, add 1/2" to top and bottom edge when cutting out gloves. After sewing gloves together, turn under 1/2" on each end and stitch 1/4" in along folded edges.
If you would like to add eyelashes embroider lashes or sew on fringe trim.

Our raised hands will tell Congress that we are watching you and we demand common sense gun laws!
Raised palms say, STOP. Stop the gun violence. Stop ignoring our calls for action.
The Evil Eye Glove project was conceived by Krista Suh, creator of the Pussyhat Project. Krista envisions a Sea of Eyes at the March for Our Lives on March 24, 2018.
