14TH ANNUAL WOOFSTOCK TO BE HELD AUGUST 23
The Lee County Humane Society will host the 14th annual Woofstock on August 23 at Kiesel Park from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. The day
will feature a blessing of the animals, tunes from Spicer’s Music garage bands and K-9 demonstrations from Lee County Sheriff’s
department, as well as the Auburn and Opelika Police Departments. Karlene’s K-9 Academy will lead an “Ask the Trainer”
session for those who have training and pet behavior questions, as well as conduct Canine Good Citizen testing. Attendees can
purchase and enjoy BBQ, flavored ice, sweet treats and more. LCHS will have dogs available for onsite adoptions. Local vendors
will be on hand selling a wide array of goods for people and pets alike. Stop by the microchip tent and invest in your pet’s safe
return if lost. Additional vendor space is still available. Vendors wishing to participate can contact Kristen Terry at

ARICCIA TO REPRESENT LEE COUNTY IN THE 2014 ALABAMA RESTAURANT WEEK
For the third year in a row, Ariccia Trattoria & Bar will participate in the annual Alabama Restaurant Week from August 15-25.

of the Auburn Research Park. This workshop will cover the 8(a) Business Development Program and the HUBZone Program,
