About KARUPALLI-BRDB

KARUPALLI is a Traditional Rural Crafts Shop.It’s a one of the marketing arm of poverty alleviation projects being implemented by the Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB). It is in fact, a supporting initiative in the form of a Display Centre and a marketing outlet for the various handicrafts & other products produced by the members of Co-operatives and asset less groups of BRDB. This Sales Cum Display Centre was opened in April 1989 with the Technical and Financial .assistance of Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV).

Screen printing is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used

to transfer ink onto a substrate, except in areas made

impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. ... It is also known

as silk-screen, screen, serigraphy, and serigraph printing.

This print technique use on Fabric, T-Shirt design, Saree, Print

shirt, Panjabi, Kamiz, Some time inner beautification and many

other design detailing.

For design illustration I use adobe design suite. After complete

illustration then print on special paper (tracing Paper).

Tracing paper use for expose design on screen.

I use adobe illustrator design suit for primary block design. Then it put on wooden materials.
