Fat Thursday

Last Thursday of carnival.

In Poland we celebrate this day on the last Thursday before Lent.

This day we eat a lot of calories.

We bake or buy doughnuts and caddisfilies.

Fat Thursday is a movable feast which means that it does not take place on the same day

each year. The date of Fat Thursday depends on the date of Easter.

We eat doughnuts with jam, chocolate, marmalade.
