Father’s Day: What Preschoolers Can Do to Surprise Their Dads

A dad is the first important male figure in a child's life.

Father's Day is the perfect opportunity for little ones to show that special man in

their lives how important he is to them.

Some of the most precious gifts for dads around the world have been

lovingly created by little hands.

Here are five ideas to choose from to make this Father's Day a special event for your

child and that special man they call “Dad”!

Golden Frame

• Gather odd puzzle pieces and spray paint them gold.

• Next, find a picture that fits in the center of the frame and glue it on from the back.

Sweet Berries• Wash strawberries and let

them drain. • Melt chocolate chips in the

microwave and dip the berries in chocolate and then sprinkle colored sugar.

• Let set and give in a pretty box.

Money Tree

• Get a styro foam cone and floral wire.

• Fold paper money bills in accordion style and tie a piece of floral wire around the center.

• Arrange the "leaves" on the styro foam tree by poking the ends of the floral wire into it.

Handprint Art• Have your child dip her hand

in paint and then on a sheet of paper.

• Give her crayons or markers and see what she can create from the handprint.
