page for the latest progress.
Stafford Borough has a variety of parks and open spaces to enjoy, from the formal Victoria Park in Stafford and Stonefield Park in Stone to smaller local neighbourhood parks scattered across the Borough. All of our parks are unique and contain a diverse range of facilities, ranging from football pitches, play and skate areas, tennis courts, crazy golf, bowling greens and the occasional aviary! Victoria Park in Stafford is a four time winner of the prestigious Green Flag Award. One visit to the park and you will see why. Its beautiful location across the River Sow, decorated by pretty flowers, lush bowling green, aviary filled with bright colourful birds, refreshment kiosk and play areas make Victoria Park the perfect spot to get out and enjoy the fresh air. We are currently redeveloping the Victoria Park Play Area, due to open this Easter. Look out for the skate bowl, 7 metre high space net, 5 metre high slide, sand play and water play area.
