FenwalNET™ 2000Expansion Enclosure

DESCRIPTIONThe FenwalNET™ Expansion Enclosure is a heavy dutyenclosure made of 16 gauge steel. This enclosure is iden-tical in size and color to the FenwalNET 2000 system con-trol panel. This enclosure utilizes the same lock and latchas the control panel. Locking and unlocking is accom-plished with the same key as the control panel.

The enclosure is beige with a FenwalNET 2000 logo onthe door. The door can be easily removed by opening thedoor 90° from its closed position and lifting up from thehinge socket. This feature allows easy access for mainte-nance and installation of the enclosure.

The FenwalNET expansion enclosure is designed toaccommodate three hardware configurations by utilizingthe different back plates listed below:

1. I/O Module Card Cage for mounting up to eight (8) I/O modules with provisions for one (1) I/O mother-board and four (4) power supply modules.

2. Provisions for up to eight (8) power supply modules.3. Two (2) I/O module card cages for mounting up to

sixteen (16) I/O modules with provisions for two (2) I/O motherboards.

The above back plates are illustrated on the reverse sideof this data sheet.

The back plates are easily fastened into the expansionenclosure by seven supplied mounting nuts.
