Integrated Welding Industries was registered in 1988 and the company began manufacturing small aluminium boats for the local market in 1992. Boat Building however, is not our only occupation. We are involved in all aspects of metal joining though we specialize in al-uminium component repair. We introduced the passenger front loading vessel into the Resort market and pioneered specialist vessels to suit specific customer requirements. Our Director, Ray Nicholls first came to Fiji In 1971 to lecture in Welding and Boiler making at the local technical Institute in Suva. With his experience and knowledge gained over many years in the welding business, he is able to contribute to educational programmes in South Pacific countries such as Nauru and Tuvalu and help raise the level of expertise in the weld-ing and welding repair fields.
