These are grammar terms that will be used in class. They are also examples of how some words are similar in structure and sound to Spanish.

The course will be lectured and practiced mainly in English. Some Spanish will be used if necessary only at the basic level of instruction. We do this so that participants can be introduced first to the experience of utilizing the language, and then to the comprehension of the structural components of the language.
