Louis Toffoli (Trieste, October 16, 1907 - Paris, February 18, 1999) was a painter of Italian origin, naturalized French, was born of an Italian father and Slovenian mother.

Many museums in Germany, Brazil, Spain, Holland, Israel, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Sweden, the United States has works by the artist.

Toffoli canvases quickly captivates the visitor, the light shines through all forms, it seems that the paintings out and emerges purity of printing, creating a deep intimacy with the characters. Toffoli was looking for an unusual inner truth with its bright colors and light in his paintings.
